Do You Use Gutter Guards or Bumper Bowling?

The old testament laws are like those gutter guards, where you can bowl, and if your bowling ball hits, it doesn't go into the gutters. But none of them actually make you a good bowler. None of them are going to. Those guards alone are knocking to make you throw down the middle of the lane and hit strikes. In other words, jesus is trying to make us into really good bowlers that don't need the gutter guards any more. And i'd say yes, if we were all throwing strikes all the time, but we're not.
