Film Review: Stalker
It's got a weird thing where there's always this slightly sexualised mother figures and then he has the mother as the lover as well. There's a thing with the father... Is this kind of distant character who is kind of yearned for silent. And barely seen. How awful. He doesn't turn up very much but he uses his poetry all the time. This film has long bits of his father's poetry which also features in Stalker. The periods are his infancy. It's powerful sort of like short memories. It's effectively emotionally evocative. If you can succeed in suspending the emotional disbelief as well of like this guy is doing this, it's super indulgent.
