"Movies are a dance, you know, they're a symphony. And the rhythm, that's the genius of editing is finding the rhythm of the storytelling," he said. "You can't tell that on a little screen. It will only appear to you on a big screen." He added: "Hopefully with an editor that with fresh eyes, you can say, yeah, that crane shot took eight hours, but it's no good for the story".
