Narcan and the Heroin Overdose

Putting a patient into withdrawal by giving them 12 milligrams of Narcan to me seems like almost borderline like abuse. If the patient doesn't wake up, maybe it's not a narcotic overdose or poly farm overdose. I have literally seen police officers give Narcan to patients who were stone cold dead. And now that they have these, the four milligram single dose, you know, you'll have three cops are running and it's like, yeah, they have. It would be an easy tube but why? What's the point?"
