The Importance of Flexibility in the Passion Industry

I'm curious about what the industry is, the passion industry. Is there an opportunity for some kind of self advocacy around, can this be flexible? I do think right now it's painted as a pretty black and white either or just because you also don't know how the timescale for having a family too. To get the shitty benefits that most places in America even offer, you have to work there for a certain amount of time. So maybe if you love what you do, then trying to see what the possibilities are there.
