Adding Complexity to a Functional Programming Language

You can add some crazy abstractions and make things a sillabit more o palniht. But that's not really complexity. That usually just gets squashedt at the review time, sayingi you now don't add a new configuration variable if it's only used once. Don't add more application config unless you'regoing to use it in multiple places. Unless it really needs to be defined at compile otherwise, just chuck iin a modral attribute right next to the function that's using it. Even that doesn't really offer much of a performance benefit in most cases.
