If you are to travel outside a white hole, the singularity is in your past. When you're inside the event horizon of a black hole, no future of yours escapes from the singularity. Jeffrey segell says very interesting conversation with john quigin on the information economy and reasons for market failures. One complication or feature that is hard to incorporate into models is the ingenuity of humans for finding unexpected ways to make a short term profit.
