Ben Westoff: Fentanyl crisis is the worst drug epidemic in American history. He says it's infiltrating almost every other drug, adulterating cocaine, meth, heroin and pills. Overprescription of these pills led to millions of new opioid-addicted users, he says. Once their doctors cut them off from prescriptions, they turned to black market heroin,. And once all the heroin was gone, fentanyl basically came in and filled the void.
