The Importance of Race in Military Academia

The parties had focused their briefs on affirmative actions' impact on education. Ginsburg wanted to talk about the concern of the military, that they need to consider race in their military academies. Colton: I don't believe we have an adequate record in this case from which to conclude that we wouldn't have representation of minorities in the military in the absence. The argument is the military, similar to a national school like the University of Michigan, has founded imperative to consider race for recruitment.
