A big part of awakening is turning inward and investigating the sense of eye. Eye is like paper money, hallucination yet it supports the whole economy. So decentralization is like the social memory complex. The strange loop of selfhood will automatically arise in any sufficiently sophisticated repertoire of categories once you've got self you've got consciousness. Various universes to be entities inside a greater metaverse is really important.
