The Ears Are the First Part of a Wife
Saints often caress to each other in marriage, caresses that are truly amorous yet pure. Saint Bernard's mother used to take her children in her arms and offer them up to Jesus Christ. The good Queen Blanche fervently fulfilled the duty for her son, the great King Saint Louis. To raise a house or family does not consist in storing up worldly goods, but rather in rearing children in the fear of God and in virtue.
