The town of Buckmoot has become a talismanic aim for the Russians. The Ukrainians have been wearing down the Russian force, making them more vulnerable to an offensive that may come. I think the likeliest outcome with a high degree of uncertainty is that Ukraine is going to be able to take back significant amounts of territory but considerably short of being able to restore the pre-war front lines.
