Tolkien and the Lord of the Rings

Tolkien is not a man of key. He doesn't think anything is evil as a thing and he thinks that nothing is evil in the beginning. Evil is always the perversion of an original good. Where does he think that evil is a person? There's no such thing as somebody that's purely good or purely bad in this world. And that's our world and Tolkien's world so I'd say it's utterly realistic.
