There are certain performance trade ofs that are already made since youre running on jabiam. For example, it is impossible to make objects that don't go through the garbage collector. There are some minor things like closer produces a lot of class files. Certain things in the j v m might get slower because of that. Anda, just creating closur, on average, creates much more garbage than, say, the closur program creates more rubbish than a gowr program.
