Understanding Alfred North Whitehead with Matthew David Segall

Matt Segall, PhD, is Associate Professor in the Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness Department at California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, and the Chair of the Science Advisory Committee for the Cobb Institute. He is author of Crossing the Threshold: Etheric Imagination in the Post-Kantian Process Philosophy of Schelling and Whitehead, and Physics of the World Soul: Whitehead’s Adventure in Cosmology. Here he brings to life the many historical influences, comparisons, and nuances in the life and work of one of the twentieth century’s greatest thinkers.
