Is There a Constitution?
The idea of a constitution to your point isn't what we think of it. Historically, it has also been just our ways of doing things in our traditions and having things that we can reference to precedent as opposed to literally a document where you could like, okay, check your notes against what it says there. It's hard for Americans to wrap their heads around this. And I'm personally not like opposed to codifying things like written. It's just, I think clearly the constitution has demonstrated that that's not nearly enough. That in itself is not going to actually maintain these rules.
