The Five Views of Revelation
Revelation is highly symbolic and so symbolic in fact that it's not cataloging predictions as one scholar would put it, but it's simply giving us the thought world of good versus evil. And this is absolutely opposite to any kind of futurist, historicist or predrist because it doesn't seek any kind of concrete point in history. The fifth view is what many have called an eclectic view. He calls it kind of a modified idealism and eclectic idealism, one that's very much governed by redemptive historical biblical theological kind of meta narrative.
