Why We Reason in Social Terms
Humans have a tendency to reason in social terms. That's not necessarily a good thing or it's a bad thing, but as we as humans have to know that we do that. Yuval Harari talks about how the thing that sets us apart from the rest of the animals is that we can believe in things that aren't true in any objective sense,. But since we create them, we dream them up and then we all sort of stack hands and agree that they're true.
