Are There Any Important Differences in Susceptibility to Schisophrenia?

Across the life span, men and women equally suffer from schisophrenian. Men tend to present at a younger age for the first time with their psychotic episodes. The second gender difference is that there is a peak of onset of scitzophrenia in e middle aged women. It's not as big. So the biggest group is still between 24 and 30. But there's a second peak for women, which there is not for men.
