Gramsci is above all else concerned with how to make a practical analysis of the historical moment. He writes quote, a common error in historical political analysis consists in an inability to find the correct relation between what is organic and what is conjunctural. The Biden administration is a conjunctural one, that particular historical moments. Gramsci has another interesting distinction, which is a temporal one between what he calls organic movements or long-term trends.
