The Santals of India - They Are Not Some Obscure Tribe

The santals rose up in rebellion against the zamindar system and the british occupation of india in 18 55. The leaders of this war for freedom were four brothers who belonged whose surname was murmu, the same as missus dropper. It lasted a few months. Tens of thousands of the santal santal people were massacred. Lots of villages were burned. And the rebellion was eventually crushed. So it's not some obscure tribe. They are. They have a significant role that they've played in history.
