The diamond age may end up dating in the same way snow crash does for the simple reason that like he takes such a deep dive into thinking about nanotechnology and talking about it. Anthony doesn't even have some of the same um sort of general ideas as snow crash like there's that drummer society so once again you get this sort of weirdUm almost pre-linguistic kind of like thinking through what are other kinds of languages and ways that people could communicate to produce information. There's a little bit of that in it I thought right well I was just rereading the the Wikipedia entry on snow crash to make sure I hadn't forgotten anything important they do mentionI think some common threads but
