Philanthropy Is Not an Intellectual Thing
If you were a billionaire, your first job would be to pick causes and probably then to pick people. And my biggest advice is to do it carefully and to take your time. Causes that are kind of easy to understandnd immediately emotionally resident are going to have a lot of money going into them. But oftentimes it's the causes that take more work, more thought more analysis to see the value of that may actually be your best chance to do a huge amount of good.
