Central bankers like to talk about price inflation and pin it on certain commodities. But when you define inflation properly, it's obvious what the source is: central banks that expand the money supply. The problem already existed before these supply chain bottle necks came around and made it worse. They should have obviously seen this coming and turned around. She could see it's headed for an iceberg, but instead of changing course, she just pulld back on the throttle so they hit the iceberg even sooner.
