Jack Bergspessor first entered these woods back in 1994. He's an industrial archaeologist who was hired to map the remains of coke ovens, mineshafts and railroad lines. Jack brought along a friend and fellow explorer Tony Bingham. His work has explored African American grave sites around Birmingham.
