The Importance of Execution in Trading

I think you can talk all day about execution and I'm not saying it's not important, but I think it's a smaller piece. If your strategy works, you should be able to execute it in kind of almost a naive way. The difference is an execution is going to be 1.3 versus 1.43 or something like that. That's where I think, having a strategy that has a one and a half sharp versus a negative point to sharp, that's important. And the same thing, I've always said that if your strategy doesn't show up in relatively, you don't need like tick by tick data to do trades that are lasting weeks at a time. Like if
