When they came out with the Segway there was months of press releases before hand going there's an announcement coming it's going to change the entire world nothing will ever be the same. The Segway was way too early and relied on like gyros that were before we all had one dollar gyro MEMS chips in our cell phones. It cost what $10,000 or something stupid right whereas you could totally retrofit your bicycle with a new hub and some batteries and everything you need to turn it into an electric bicycle for like 600 bucks.
