Is Time Like Intrinsic to the Human Animal?

Time is a cycle. It's not a straight line of beginning continually progressing towards an end. Modern physics would disagree with the western view of linear time. Quantum physics can show that certain particles appear to exist outside of the rules of time. The big question is, is time like intrinsic to the human animal like, as it's something biological within us, or is it a social construct? Regardless of the culture we would have a concept of bi individual, biological time.
