Time loops or that's that type of continuity didn't seem like it was going to be a big part of what these two characters experienced," he said. "To finally have that come home to roost feels like you know the coup of the book."

This is a twist on a time travel story where the relationship between two enemies-turned-frenemies-turned-lovers takes center stage, leaving the actual mechanics of the time travel and all the world-building mostly unexplained.
