The Value of Reducing Risk
The pessimist is stuck in the left. They're starting at a 20% level of existential risk. And you ask even on linear quadratic growth models how valuable is a 10% reduction in risk. That's definitely getting more value here, but we're not, I think, going to get into the stratosphere this way.
