The Desire to Do Something Different
When I went into technology the drive was more to be a PM, right, like my first job out of graduate school was actually doing a Microsoft. And so, you know, after working on a model like that there's sort of a desire to figure out what are the models that work when it comes to running a business. So those are the two bits right like figuring out data, figuring out what it means to apply quantitative methods to this stuff and then doing it in a sector of the economy where it wasn't already happening.
