The Importance of Data in Decision Making
It's difficult because we don't have a lot of the data that we would need. Things like carbon emissions are reasonably well measured, but biodiversity is not a tool well measured and there's a huge amount of data that needs to be collected. So it's going to be a long haul, but it's absolutely unavoidable if we are to understand really how we are impacting on nature in which we all sit.
