Is Enchantment Possible?

On ACFM, when we discuss sort of magic in its various forms and we kept coming back to this idea that perhaps we can understand some of these practices as attempts to maintain an openness to just how complex the world is. The other thing I had in my head was the idea that perhaps what we're talking about is an exceeding of practices or perhaps even moments when our sense of what's possible gets exceeded. That's almost a litogenous feeling that the world is repotentialized in some sort of way. It does tease through empathy because we can draw from the whole of culture.
