The Role of the Library in the Pandemic
LZ Granderson: I just don't know how anybody believes that, especially coming out of the pandemic, that it's totally fine for us all to just be isolated alone on our laptops forever. That's not like what the world is about. When people say that the library isn't relevant, what they're saying is that it isn't relevant to have public space for people. And democratic public space. There's increasingly few of those. LZ: How do you see the role of the librarian kind of evolving over time and also how are librarians organizing themselves to push back against these attacks?
