China is trying to pursue its interest in the maritime commons. They see, they very much talk about some of these polar regions as the common heritage of mankind. And strategically, we've seen it kind of incorporate into Xi Jinping's idea of a polar silk road under the Belt and Road Initiative. But I think thinking about China's role in how we govern the global ocean commons is going to be really challenging.
