The Rise of Rents in May
Rents nationwide went up 1.5%. That's month on month in May from April? No, May over last year. So that seems small. It's a small increase and people are very excited about it. They think this is great news because rents and real estate prices have been driving up inflation. But I just want to say that it still means that rents are going up. For a lot of people who rent, the rents have gone up by insane amounts over the past few years. At least it shows that it's a move very much in the right direction.
