The Importance of Women's Unpaid Caregiving

During the lockdown, we would hear a lot more about how women's work had become more visible men were doing some Jadupa at home. So I think one thing I will say for COVID-19, it has really set us back by almost a decade's worth of advances in gender equality. But it has fixed the spotlight on women's unpaid caregiving. Just the markets cannot solve this issue. We need the government, families and the market to come together to provide options for women to be able to go back to work.
