The Nature of the Biblical Story

The story begins with Abraham being called out amongst all these tribes. The nature of the biblical story is that God, we live in a world created by a being who wants to partner and share with humans Who are his image. And he's given humans enormous amounts of freedom and responsibility within certain constraints. That essentially sets the playing field for all of the screwed up cast of characters that he puts up with throughout the story of his Bible.
