The Coon Cat
Long-haired cats are known in this country as Coon Cats. The ears are unusually large, the head long and the length of the hair is excess from the eyes to the tip of the nose. There are no long hairs of any consequence either within the ears or at their apex. A friend of mine has a pair of these cats, all black, and the female consorts with no one but her mate.
