CHAPTER

Is It Possible to Render a Game at 16 K Resolution?

We actually create our data set at 16 k resolutions. So a four k image has his four thousand pistles across the top. A 16 k image, 16 thousand picls across the top. So it's essentially 16 times more picles then than you would expect in a four k image. And so rendering something at 16 k resolution is very slow, and it happens off line. We find that our neural reconstruction method is able to learn information about how objects should look at this very, very high resolution. This can be used to make games look better when rendered at low resolution.
