Pre-Op Pain: How Much Do You Need?
My go to dose is actually 0.5 to 1 I think 2 million again that's micrograms not milligrams micrograms per kilo times is good if you're only using intranasal dex let's say for an MRI. Other than the sedatives or the pain medications those are kind of what I limit in terms of pre-op medications great all right now when we have ERAS protocols that percolate down to children so any of those PO meds that work for post-op pain I think give it PO Tylenol and if you're giving PO medazalam volume is quite large.
