Relationships Across Difference Are So Important
If you have affinity, but no evidence to demonstrate your competence or ability, you're still in a good spot. And i think that's what people don't realize too because when you think about the psychology of it, and you have an affinity bi is, it's i can see you in me. So if you succeed, it's almost like seeing a bit of me succeed. That's why it's so important, not just to have relationships, but as we have these conversations, difficult or otherwise, we are intentional about finding similarities.
