The Role of the Chancellor in the Great Recession
As a young man, i was the treasury desk officer for monetary policy in the early 19 eighties. I remember a george osborne constantly saying, talking about his long term plan,. that was a favourite phrase. The financial crash of two thousand and eight really defined gordon brown's economic legacy. And i have said before, mister deputy speaker, no return to boom and buss.
