The Crisis of Reason

Cardinal Ratzinger says the majority cannot be the ultimate principle, since there are values that no majority is entitled to a no. It can never be right to kill innocent persons and no power can make this legitimate. Here too, what is ultimately a stake is the defense of reason. Faith purifies and heals reason. Why? Because Jesus Christ is truth. He is also a logos and agape. And faith heals reason. Remember that in cyclical fetus at Ratsuo faith and reason were connected.
