The Importance of Getting Repetitions

We focus on the most important thing, which is the long-term growth and compounding of earnings. And like Buffet, we'd rather take 15% growth that's a little bumpy than 10% growth for the same price. Over time, it's cash flows that wins, earnings that wins, not those popularity dimensions. We don't get to ask anybody, hey, buddy, why you will sell us this business that has grown twice as fast as the S&P for half the multiple. There's nobody to go ask, but we can guess. Some of these dimensions of popularity, I think, explain why stocks are cheap for non-financial fundamental reasons.
