Is Nirvana the Realm of the Uncaused?
Nirvana is sometimes described as the unconditioned, which is taken to mean that causality ceases to play a role in effect. If Nirvana is the realm of the uncaused, then how could meditation or anything else help get you there? Because that would be something causing this state that is uncaused. I see again this kind of severing the link between behavior and feeling as really striking right at the point where natural selection tries to manipulate it.
