When I squatted 400 pounds back in 2006 that was probably more impressive than squatting 500 pounds in 2021. When I came back from hip surgery saw that I regained strength and learned the utility of heavy relatively frequent singles. Now more recently to move my lifts another bit it's more frequent singles at heavy loads which was something that again was just like you could do it but you'd have to do all bunch of other things different. That wasn't an option that I even considered prior to being able to make this progress so yeah you might be at your limit right now based on what you're currently willing to do and what you know and the life constraints you have but that's not actually the limit
