There is a lack of subtlety in some of the responses we give, especially to issues in the modern world. The very mature of modern orthodoxy isn't necessarily being fulfilled by modern orthodoxy and their debates happening in a wider world. And yet we're afraid to engage firh them. If there was a real conversation to be had in modern orstox communities about how we grapple with wi, with belief, right and left. We have ignored things that quotea great literature from the orthodox mind which speak about those tensions. Why are we not encouraging people to reflect on those tensions?
