I know some might be looking for a "man in finance," as the viral TikTok goes, but I wanted to find a woman in finance and learn about her rise to the top and how she’s balancing the demands of work and her personal life. Alyssa Schaefer is the General Manager and Chief Experience Officer at Laurel Road, a digital banking platform, where Alyssa oversees all aspects of the business, including Marketing, Operations, Risk, and P&L Management. Before Laurel Road, Alyssa held several leadership positions in the financial services industry. She's also a mom of twin toddlers.
