A lot of what we're trying to teach at the school is how to deal with those deeply emotional disagreements, some of which are actually anchored in values. To set aside someone else's values, in their deeply held commitments and feelings, isn't effective. If you just have some wishy, washy statements about what we care about, you're not going to be as well. How much do students care, though, about what a company stands for in their culture? I think it matters a lot to our students.
